About

"Agriculture is our wisest pursuit, because it will in the end contribute most to real wealth, good morals, and happiness."

 - Thomas Jefferson, 1787

Conor D. Bredder

Conor spent his teenage years in Albemarle County assisting neighboring farms with their day-to-day operations. Upon an early graduation from high-school, Conor went to work for a local company building fences for the gap-year before college. Conor studied business management on a full-ride scholarship to Old Dominion University. While in school, Conor ran a small landscape construction company as an alternative to cliche college-student jobs. Conor came back to Charlottesville to learn more about his passion working with farms and landscapes. He became a certified horticulturist and obtained his pesticide applicators license. After several years working under some of the best landscape design/build firms while also working as a farm-manager on a 150 acre farm, he started Bredder Land Management with the passion of the business revolving around developing rural farms and estates. Bredder Land Management grew quickly to over a dozen employees and many pieces of heavy equipment. In his experience managing large-scale property renovations, Conor discovered a need for owner's representation and managing multi-year projects. Over the years, Bredder Land Management has evolved to cater directly to clients needing farm maintenance contracts, wildflower meadow installation, and other custom farming services while expanding to assist clients with owner's representation and project management.

Our Misson

Virginia is just naturally stunning.

Through the use of native plantings and riparian management, we can help maintain Virginia's breathtaking views. Without regard for the hundreds of species of animals and insects that rely on native landscapes and clean water, Virginia can't possibly sustain it's beauty for our children and grandchildren. This is why, at Bredder Land Management, we work closely with our clients to develop the best management practices for their land, farm, or estate. Our mission is to provide the most outstanding service for everyone: Our clients, our children and grandchildren, our forests, our waterways, and all of the wildlife that inhabit our Virginia.
